Some users want's to keep their rips as private as possible, and not spread around the whole net.
Ofcourse it's hard to prevent this from happening.. but at least the uploader have given his wish about the upload.

I linked the MASQUE demo here becouse I knew many was looking for it and wanted to inform you that it have been found.

Have his status set to: "OK to share my rips?: It depends, PM me first!" so it had to be respected.

My rips are often OK to share if credits are given.
I'll recently posted 3 live shows with CROSSHEAD at the blog with a direct link to the file-host for example.
But I also want some of the stuff to be unique for the forum.

Approve. It is your right. But, believe my experience - sooner or later all the rare rips from your forum get on the Internet, or peering.

No ofcourse youre not responsible for what other users do.
I will not act like some kind of police and keep track of every single site and blog. T
That would be impossible and I have better things to do at the moment :)
I am sure the uploader will contact me if he finds his rips on other sites without his approvement.
And I will give the user a warning to prevent it from happen again.


Believe me I know the rips will not be kept inside the forum for long, many rips are already posted on other sites.
MYSELF have nothing against it as long as they give some kind of credit to the uploaders and mention the source in the posts.

And yes you are totally right, I was a BIG FUCKIN leecher back then. Can't deny that.
But I have learned from my misstakes and for the last years I have given credits to the uploaders in my posts.

So yes, in a way it have changed, at least my way of looking at it.
The original uploaders/rippers shall be credited for their hard work with the rips and their will to share their gems with other people.

I try to post only my own rips today and rips people are supporting to the site with.
I regulary update my collection with rare records and I am happy to share it with people who enjoy it as much as I do.

Probably so and I was once going, when suddenly frightened constant claims of the original uploader, or wake up the conscience in me =))
But not on this forum. It has long set the rules - all for the people and no hidden options and obligations before signing up.

If you are afraid of sharing any mirror links here if that's what you mean, just check the profiles of the users at the forum.
You will see if they agree to their rips to be shared or not.

Anyway, 80s.takemetal.com is the best forum on the net today and I will still be around and share my stuff here (ofcourse not via a link to my forum).

There was many reasons we had to go private.
But the main reason was that many of the uploaders at the blog stopped ripping their stuff
becouse they was shared at tons of other sites/blogs with other people taking credits for them.

The forum may prevent leechers from doing this as they actually can loose their access to the downloads.

But yeah the forum is new, I am working on new ideas and things will probably change with the time.
This is how it is at the moment and I hope we all can get along and enjoy the music!

And yeah youre totally correct, it's impossible to prevent the posts from spreading - but as I said before,
I have nothing against it as long as they mention the source/uploader.
Ofcourse I can only speak for myself here, other people have different opinions on this.

A forum is also so much better for discussions then a blog, it's also easier to actually get to know the people that have been around for years.
I love to discuss the music as much as I like to listen to it.

У strappado в блоге половина ссылок накрылась.(на медиафайле)
Либо его там засуспендили, либо он сам все потер.

А там три варианта возможны:
1. Правообладатели просят удалить файл. При этом появляется надпись, что такой-то и такой лэйбл удалил.
2. Сам Медиафайер - если на них поступит жалоба от любого лица (даже не правообладателя).
3. Сам аплоадер удалил. Но это уже бред, в который я не поверю

Но ведь это обычно касается отдельных файлов или отдельных исполнителей. А тут все файлы. Я думаю, что его аккаунт там просто заблокировали. Надо самого Эмиля спросить.

Хм, а мож и сам удалил.
